A visit to the South of France

I have spent the past week in the South of France. It was absolutely gorgeous and despite being away from Matt on Valentines day (again), I thoroughly enjoyed every day. I travelled with my friend Emily. She is going back to India for a month and as she lives in the USA it made sense to pop by Europe for 10 days. 5 with us in London and 5 on the continent. We stayed with her family friends in the beautiful little town of Collioure, just east of Perpignan.

We were trying to travel as cheaply as we could, this meant:

Underground from home to Victoria

Gatwick express to Gatwick

Plane from Gatwick to Barcelona

Metro/RENFE train from airport to Barcelona Sants

Barcelona Sants to Perpignan by train 

 The home of the Macaroon and some local cheese

The Mediterranean Sea was under a minutes walk from our apartment, so so clear. 

....and then all the trains plus 3 shuttle buses back to London. 

We are all now headed to Portsmouth for my mums birthday :)

Doodling on my dresses

One of my Christmas presents was a set of fabric pens. For a while I've been trying to think of a way to use them.

I like this dress with the little Diana cameras around the waistline more than without.

Also, photo cred to my husband. His pictures are the best.

Im going to France tomorrow with my lovely friend, Emily. She is visiting from the US.

Princess party in pink!

On Sunday I hosted a Princess Birthday party for 6 beautiful princesses.
The mother of the birthday girl had asked me if I would throw a princess party, to which I said yes....and if I do say so myself, I think it was a pretty awesome afternoon!

It was all-out princess in pink; strawberry milkshake, pink lemonade, bonbons, tiaras, fruit wands and frogs. I think everyone had a lot of fun, here are a few pictures of the party.
